asd008 sees the return of alex krueger and a welcome one at that! this oneÆs 5 tracks deep (including a digital exclusive) and includes a pair of fine remixes from londoner-in-berlin, mark henning, ôblasted bitchö is tigerskin at his best. the title cut is a feast of sonic trickery, with sounds playing off each other beautifully to create a wide, dense soundscape which, paired with clipped percussion, clever dancefloor arrangement, evil laugh & crude vocal sample this one delivers tough. henning, a man known for his abilities with sound design himself, takes a darker route with his interpretation which, while still driving, is more of a heads down late night affair û riddled with oddball delays and some unnerving vox efx. ôwhat theö takes a turn to the darkside, moody, sharp, reveb laden and pulsing, the track is real heavy business watch out for that unholy belgian hardcore synth riff a la ômentasmö, thereÆs a real æmomentÆ in there. to round off the original cuts. responseö continues seeing tigerskin provide a straighter groove but one which displays some sterling keyboard work and strong break. finally, henning provides another remix of the title track as the digital only addition all too important these days. futuristic deep, tech-house is about as close as a description anyone needs for this superb final piece of an equally superb package.

played by villalobos & raresh !! what a way to start off 2009, a very strong ep delivered from catwash aka chris carrier & dj w!ld with remix from lemos & kreon. groovabilisme (original) hits with its’ crafty tech-house stomp, killer kick, and fun tribal groove. a very interesting concept on this production, as the deep grounding rhythm is super floor filling, yet the space between gives it the perfect air for the huge sub that just rolls this cut to the top of the charts. a sure shot for all players. kreon’s mix stylizes with more jack then jack himself. his vox arrangements give his cut a pop, lock, and rock it knack for the true school dancer. this remix takes any spot in a set, it’s got the capability to kick it big or be slow & deep, depending on how a player wishes to pitch it- a brilliant & effective production. lemos rocks the bells a for main lead rhythm, an excellent perspective to make for a clever & diversity ep. his mix creates a driving hypnotic bender with enough thump & smack to keep the bells intact and still lead the floor into a seductive sound scape of a moving utopia.

our spanish collegues oel polygon have redefined themselves. leo and omar cobble on together as a re-up in musical togetherness. nonchalantly as usual- the two keep on cooking crispy tech-house to the limits and let the heart of the club-gourmets melt away. between venice and barcelona they have peeled especially pretty models out of their sequencer. “inside us” is telling us a lot about the drive of the record and strives with tough techno-vocals the hit pig across the upon you court. once you’ve wrapped out the a1 bon-bon you’ll find yourself greedily diving into the b-side, which- together with “phonobox” and “dos por dos” skilfully completes the box of candies

nice price deal !!! the original is courtesy of nick douglas and hes most definitely turning in an ill mix, all the while keeping it funky and dancefloor ready. with vocals saying so uh, i see your hobbies are drinking, smoking weed, and all types of ill shit you cant go wrong. we ve also got our man johnny fiasco taking us on an acidic, techy journey all the while keeping the groove going, our feet moving and the bassline going strong. fans of mastiksoul will love johnnies mix! next up weve got mr. micro wonk (mr. wonks illegitimate son) turning in a really dirty, slow, low, rolling bassline heavy track that will destroy the woofers on your speakers and whatever system your playing it on. very nice indeed. and finally we ve got our main man from down unda, sonny fodera gearing us up and taking it to the tech house.
